We have a sister company – Lester LLP – that provides advice and assistance to major UK and US charities on providing strategic advice to their grantees. Examples include the Legal Education Foundation, Unbound Philanthropy, Comic Relief, Big Lottery Fund, the Baring Foundation and Princess Diana of Wales Fund.
We also founded a pro-bono project in 2012 – LegalVoice – an online magazine about ‘access to justice’. It is aimed at legal aid law firms, the not-for-profit sector and all organisations providing publicly-funded legal advice in the UK. LegalVoice holds regular conferences in London and other cities. Our conferences have been hosted by Allen & Overy, Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer and DLA Piper.
