Volunteers have brought some festive cheer to a care home by covering it in Christmas Decorations.
The Leonard Cheshire charity home, in Sileby, which has 17 severely disabled residents has been transformed with baubles, tinsel, lights and trees.
A team of 10 staff from Leicester law firm Weightmans gave up their time to do the decorating and meet the residents.
The home’s volunteer co-ordinator Claire McLeod said: “they done a brilliant job. Everyone now has a smile on their face because it is looking so Christmassy.
It makes such a big difference to the people here.
We have 17 rooms, two lounges and a lot of other space. It was a big old task but the volunteers were great and they brought along a lot of new decorations for us”.
Volunteer Maria Wheeler said: “we had a great time decorating the home as well as just having a chat and a laugh with the residents. It was very rewarding”.
