The Law Society are continuing to act in response to members' concerns over securing financially viable or indeed any professional indemnity insurance (PII) quotes before the 1 October deadline.

The Society acts over inflated PII quotes and calls for lower ARP premiums
They have written to all qualifying insurers and the Association of British Insurers requesting an urgent response to concerns over the inflated PII rates being quoted by some insurers. They are also lobbying the SRA to review the charging levels of the ARP to reflect the difficulties that solicitors are facing.
