Who are we?
Leicestershire Law Society has about 500 members who are solicitors practising in Leicester, Leicestershire & Rutland. This is a good majority of solicitors and their firms in the area and the information provided on this website is therefore representative of the local profession.
The Society is separate from The Law Society of England and Wales which oversees the registration and professional conduct of solicitors. Leicestershire Law Society has no jurisdiction over its members or their firms and is unable to give legal advice.
Comprehensive information has been gathered from all members firms about the areas of the law in which they practice and the facilities they can offer to clients and this information can be drawn upon when using the “Find a Solicitor” service.
The Society is run by a committee, with a President, Vice President and Deputy Vice President elected from the membership each year. They, along with an Honorary Secretary and an Honorary Treasurer, oversee the work of an employed Manager.

Tuesday - 9:00am - 5:00pm
Wednesday - 2:00pm - 5:00pm
Friday - 9:00am - 5:00pm
